Flu cases are surging across the U.S. Here's what OHA says about Oregon

Influenza cases are surging across the United States, and in Oregon. The increase in infections caused by the flu virus has been accompanied by a decline in flu vaccinations.

The Oregon Health Authority announced that as of Dec. 29, the number of Oregonians seeking flu immunizations during the 2025-26 flu season is "slightly lower" than those seeking vaccinations during the 2024-25 season.
